* ouch. I have taken 2 days off the gym because my ankles have been hurting, actually its all the muscles around my ankles, feeling better today so I plan on getting back into it tomorrow. I did work out 5 days in a row this week, so I feel entitled to take some rest days. 18 lbs down, but I've not exactly been behaving food wise this weekend (see below).

* have not sat on my ass too much, though: have all my stuff laid out for Costa Rica, luggage is down airing out, the house is clean. I steam cleaned the carpets, washed the sheets and cleaned the whole bedroom, hung up all my clothes, then went out to the yard. I transplanted a bunch of daylilies into a neglected bed, it just needed some filler. transplanted some monkey grass to bare areas, planted a bed of shade caladiums beside the deck. still need to find a home for the sun caladiums. Raked out some more mulch, turned the compost pile. Starting to get some sprouts in the seed trays. Cannot wait to get the green beans going, I love fresh green beans.

* cooking this weekend: last night I fried some chicken, rice and green beans for the sides, mmm. Fried chicken and sweet tea could be the death of me and I almost never fry chicken at home, and I think I've only had 4-5 glasses of tea this year. yay. no totally empty calories. chocolate chip muffins for dessert, (well, those were empty calories). tonight will be blackened tilapia, rosemary potatoes, lemon asparagus.

I am so tired. I don't want to do anything for the rest of the night. need to make dinner, need to make last minute list, need to make some copies. zzzzzz
